AirCharge

The AirCharge compressor series is the affordable solution for most small, municipal fire departments. This package incorporates many standard features not otherwise found on competitive systems. Features include the following:

• Vertical steel cabinet houses pressure bearing components for operator safety.
• Cabinet incorporates sound attenuation material for reduced noise levels.
• Three stage compressor.
• Single or three phase electric motor.
• Stainless steel control panel with 1-3 stage pressure gauges, hourmeter, on/off button, emergency stop button.
• Automatic condensate drain with steel muffler / reservoir.
• Purification system designed to deliver Grade "E" breathing air.
• Lift off maintenance access panels for unobstructed serviceability.
• Optional equipment available such as Cartridge Monitor or Carbon Monoxide Monitor.

Breathing Air Module

The Breathing Air Module was designed to meet the rigors and performance requirements of today's most active fire departments. This design allows the fire department to install the compressor cabinet up against a wall, thus saving precious floor space. Features include the following:

• Vertical steel cabinet houses pressure bearing components for operator safety.
• Cabinet incorporates sound attenuation material for reduced noise levels.
• Five hinged maintenance access panels. Four panels can be removed from the cabinet without the use of hand tools.
• Designed to incorporate both three and four stage compressors.
• Time tested "V" configured, four stage compressor incorporates piston rings on all stages for maximum compression efficiency.
• Single or three phase electric motor (10 hp maximum for single phase).
• Stainless steel control panel with 1-4 stage pressure gauges, oil pressure gauge (4 stage models), hourmeter, on/off button, emergency stop button, shutdown light package, inlet filter restriction indicator.
• Automatic condensate drain with steel muffler / reservoir.
• Purification system designed to deliver Grade "E" breathing air.
• Optional equipment available such as Cartridge Monitor or Carbon Monoxide Monitor are mounted directly onto the stainless steel operations panel.

Breathing Air Center

The Breathing Air Center is CompAir Mako's answer for the fire department that requires a breathing air compressor, air storage system and containment fill station all integrated into one compact package. This unique design allows fire department personnel to perform all SCBA refilling functions at one convenient location. Features include the following:

• Vertical steel cabinet houses pressure bearing components for operator safety. Designed for against the wall installation.
• Cabinet incorporates sound attenuation materials for reduced noise levels.
• Three hinged maintenance access panels. Panels can be removed from the cabinet without the use of hand tools.
• Designed to incorporate both three and four stage compressor blocks.
• Time tested "V" configured, four stage compressor incorporates piston rings on all stages for maximum compression efficiency.
• Single or three phase electric motor (10 hp maximum for single phase).
• Stainless steel control panel with 1-4 stage pressure gauges, oil pressure gauge (4 stage models), hourmeter, on/off button, emergency stop button, shutdown light package, inlet filter restriction indicator.
• Automatic condensate drain with steel muffler / reservoir.
• Purification system designed to deliver Grade "E" breathing air.
• Three position, certified containment fill station with automatic safety interlock that prevents refilling SCBA's unless the fill station door is properly closed.
• Space available for up to four DOT or ASME air storage cylinders.
• Air management panel with 0-6000 psi adjustable regulator and SCBA fill valves.
• Regulated auxiliary outlet for remote cascade filling.
• Optional equipment available such as Cartridge Monitor or Carbon Monoxide Monitor are mounted directly onto the stainless steel operations panel.

M2000 Fill Station

The M2000 series fill station allows the operator the convenience of reloading and refilling SCBA or SCUBA cylinders from the front of the fill station. Features include the following:

• Two position SCBA / SCUBA cylinder capacity.
• Front loading design with gravity assist door.
• Control panel with 0-6000 psi adjustable regulator with inlet and outlet pressure gauges, two fill valves with gauges.
• Optional equipment available such as up to six cascade banks with "From" and "To" valves, and auxiliary outlet.

MCFS-3 Mobile Containment Fill Station

The MCFS-3 Mobile Containment Fill Station is designed to provide the fire department with the safety of a containment fill station for those mobile applications such as rescue trucks, air and light trucks or breathing air trailers. Features include the following:

• Three position SCBA / SCUBA cylinder capacity.
• 1/4 inch steel construction, including vents.
• Automatic safety interlock that prevents refilling SCBA's unless the fill station door is closed properly.
• Operator friendly tilt out door.
• Two position design also available (MCFS-2).

5400 Series Portable

The 5400 series are designed for users that do not have the luxury of electrical power. Many customers have incorporated these units on the back of small trailers for on-site cylinder filling. Optional configurations are available to configure the system to your particular needs. Shown below are some of the many standard features:

• Welded steel frames with rubber inner suspended compressor and motor baseplate.
• Exclusive "V" configured 4-stage compressors with rings on all stages for maximum compression efficiency.
• 6000 psi maximum pressure is available.
• Expanded metal cabinet enclosure provides an aesthetically appealing appearance while providing maximum operator safety.
• Honda gasoline, Lister diesel engines.
• Full instrumentation on an "up-front" operations panel.
• Auto condensate drain system is standard.
• Hinged maintenance access panels.
• Purification system to CGA Grade "E" standards.
• All pressure bearing components are inside the cabinet for operator safety.
• The motor and compressor are mounted on an inner baseplate isolated from the outer frame to reduce system vibration.

5400 Series Trailer

The CompAir Mako 5400 series trailer combines our continuous duty, four stage breathing air compressor along with an air storage system, fill station and control package all in one rugged, dual axle trailer. Trailer features include the following:

• Welded, tubular steel frame enclosure with structural steel C channel trailer frame.
• 7000 pound GVW dual axle trailer incorporates surge brakes with hydraulic dampeners.
• Time tested "V" configured, four stage compressor incorporates piston rings on all stages for maximum compression efficiency.
• Gasoline or diesel powered with 12 volt starting.
• Stainless steel control panel with 1-4 stage pressure gauges, oil pressure gauge, hourmeter, on/off button, emergency stop button and shutdown light package.
• Air management panel includes 0-6000 psi adjustable regulator, two bank cascade control and two SCBA fill valves with gauges, compressor bypass valve.
• Automatic condensate drain.
• Purification system designed to deliver Grade "E" breathing air.
• Two position fill station utilizes two, 5/8 inch wall thickness aluminum SCBA sleeves.
